Boat Towing

We can tow a great variety of vessels in most weather conditions thanks to our own powerful and reliable emergency assistance vessels. We always bring staff capable of doing small repairs when answering calls from vessels that broke down. This way, if it is possible to make repairs that will allow you to sail back home, we will make the repairs at sea instead of towing the boat.

We do marine towing in the Canadian sea waters of the Pacific Ocean and in the B.C. rivers. If you have a Canadian boat in need of towing in American waters we have a partnership with a marine assistance company in the U.S. and can still help you.

Call 604-290-2055 or ask for Old School Marine towing on Channel 16.

WARNING! The difference between sea towing and boat salvage: We have heard stories of people getting convinced by dishonest marine emergency workers to leave their boat during the towing procedures. We thought it would be good to warn people on our website of the difference between towing and salvaging. If nobody is on the boat when it is towed, then it is legally considered salvage work. Salvaging is more expensive and the owner's insurance will have to pay the company that did the salvage work 10% of the total value of the boat. We would never ask people to get off their vessel unless there are actually risks linked to them staying on it and we would explain that it would turn the operation into a salvaging operation.
